AFLBS Up Close
October 18 - October 19
NEW! This Thursday night/Friday event is designed specifically for 11th and 12th graders to get an up-close and personal look at AFLBS. Students will experience a night of activities on campus, a morning of classes and chapel service, and several workshops to learn about life before, during, and after AFLBS.
AFLBS Up Close includes the following:

- AFLBS classes and electives
- Chapel service
- Housing and meals
- Workshops and sessions
- Life at AFLBS
- Preparing for AFLBS
- Options for after AFLBS
Thursday, October 18
3:30 – 4:00 pm – Arrival and Check-in
4:00 – 4:30 pm – Welcome and Orientation
4:30 – 5:30 pm – Campus Tours and Backyard Games
5:30 – 6:15 pm – Supper
6:15 – 7:00 pm – Session 1: Snapshots of AFLBS – an overview of academics, student life, and activities
7:15 – 8:00 pm – Session 2: Why AFLBS? – speaker TBA
8:00 – 10:00 pm – Off-campus and On-campus activities
10:00 – 10:30 pm – Vespers worship and devotions in chapel
10:30 – 11:00 pm – Evening snack
11:00 pm – Head to dorms

Your Path to College Completion…Starting at AFLBS – Stick around for an extra hour and learn how to make the most of AFLBS credits, ways to earn college credit quickly and affordably, and how AFLBS can fit into a 4-year degree plan. Parents are encouraged to attend with their student.

Parents and youth leaders are welcome to attend AFLBS UpClose! We encourage parents and youth workers to attend the scheduled sessions, classes, and workshops. Parents and adults who plan to attend with students should fill out the registration form.
